His husband Gerrit, a prominent and very active leader of the gay-movement, wants to take action, but Mark doesn't want to press charges. The wife of Faruk, the Turkish grocer who found Mark, says Faruk was also attacked, because his shirt was torn and full of blood. This contradicts Faruk's earlier statement.
