Next, they move towards the iconic Etna volcano. They take the cable car up to see the eerie landscape of the craters and enter a volcanic cave created by the passage of lava. In this episode, they also go to one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of the island, the Alcantara river and canyon with the rocks created by volcanic activity that look like sculptures. The trek continues further south to Katani and the ancient necropolis of Pantelika with its thousands of rock-hewn tombs.
