Our travelers close this year with a magical episode in the "Butterfly of the Aegean", as Astypalaia is called, due to its special shape. They arrive by boat and admire the port and the impressive Chora of the island with its picturesque alleys and historic churches such as Panagia Portaitissa. They see the windmills but also the great castle, learning about the history of the island from ancient times to the present day. They explore interesting locations, heavenly beaches and beautiful villages of Astypalaia as well as churches built in unlikely places.
