Lachchu reads Moti Bai's letter and tells her that Gangadhar will return with Manu as his bride. Moti Bai tells Lachchu Bai that this won't happen. Bopatkar and Tatya Dixit go to Bithur's palace to show Gangadhar Manu's photograph. Gangadhar's pigeon throws the necklace around Manu's neck, and Manu throws it on the painting that Bopatkar and Tatya Dixit bring.
